We’re seeking Machine Operators to join our Urbanstone site in Jandakot, WA.. Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating machinery involved in manufacturing building products. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Set up, operate and clean mechanical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) at all times;
• Set controls, fix attachments and materials to prepare for operation;
• Perform basic problem solving and diagnosis of machine issues and escalates non-routine issues to the maintenance team for resolution; 
• Assists and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives; and
• Operate a forklift to move pallets and product.
Success Requirements:

• Strong ability to operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
• Forklift Licence. 
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• Strong skill in problem solving and fault-finding activities to identify and resolve machine issues/breakdowns.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automated machinery.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• High regard for workplace health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills and work well in a team.
