State Sales Manager

We’re seeking a self-motivated and confident State Sales Manager to join our team in Dandenong, Victoria. Reporting to the State Manager Victoria, you will be responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the activities of a state sales team to achieve established sales.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Develop sales plans, activities and campaigns;
• Manage the day-today activities of a sales team in order to implement the organisations overall sales strategy within the designated state;
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets;
• Monitor sales volume, revenues and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas, allocate resources and determine priorities to improve the overall performance of the sales team;
• Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organisation;
• Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing and distribution strategies for area of responsibility;
• Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organisation's products and services on marketing campaigns and sales promotions and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets; and
• Work with industry bodies, design and development team, existing and potential customers to develop and grow market share.

Success Requirements
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience in similar role leading a team to exceed objectives.
• Strong negotiation, time management, administration and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of Sales Strategies.
• Ability to deliver results.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority.
