About the role

We’re seeking a self-motivated Pricing Analyst, located in Horsley Park on a 9-12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to the General Manager Pricing, you will be responsible for creating, tracking and analysing pricing models to assist in pricing products and services competitively. Additionally, you will coordinate customer pricing and utilise our customer relationship management system.

Duties include but are not limited to

• Support the implementation of any price adjustments in conjunction with the relevant sales and management teams;
• Ensure accuracy of documentation for customers, sales team and management team to support the correct application of price;
• Ensure accuracy of price applied in the ERP and problem solve errors in orders;
• Undertake pricing administration tasks and other adhoc reporting and analysis to support business requirements;
• Contribute to pricing structure development and ability to undertake margin analysis in Excel;
• Facilitate reporting and feedback with the sales teams across the Austral Bricks business to ensure the corporate pricing policies and guidelines are clearly understood across the sales and management teams and effectively implemented;
• Contribute to the development and implementation of further pricing policy refinement;
• Track appropriate pricing KPI’s to help identify any opportunities and ensure strong governance support for sales team;
• Implement and communicate with the business new tools to support key pricing initiatives;
• Investigate and implement improvements to processes, price, customer service and cost to serve through identifying opportunities for profitable growth in conjunction with the sales team;
• Run Maximise reports, extract, merge and manipulate them in Excel;
• Contribute to transition of pricing into JDE; and
• Influence data quality improvements across the business through identification of data quality or reporting issues, and working with relevant business and IT partners to facilitate improvement.

Success Requirements


• Tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
• Ability to translate reporting anomalies into business process.
• Solid Maximise skills and willingness to use new systems as they arise.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Willingness to learn about Pricing as a discipline.
• Strong time management, administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrated positive attitude, strong work ethic and the ability to influence effective change in the Brickworks context.
• Ability to complete multiple tasks with varying levels of priority.
