About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Producer to join our team, Reporting to the Group Digital Manager, the Digital Producer will own and manage the websites and digital assets for the company.

You will be driving and actively participating in developing digital strategy and solutions that improve the customer experience and deliver business outcomes. A core function of this role will be to develop productive working relationships with stakeholders to ensure the successful end-to-end management and delivery of digital projects.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage projects from initiation through production to delivery and ongoing optimisation, including high-level business requirements, audience research, project set up, road-mapping, feature prioritisation, sequencing, and ongoing production management across all brands and websites;
• Project and stakeholder management across an extensive program of website upgrades and new website development;
• Create content strategies and manage the sourcing, commissioning and adaptation of offline content for effective digital experiences with responsibility for content publishing;
• Work with the marketing team to create and execute digital campaigns and EDMs;
• Manage site content structure and navigation;
• Maintain and enhance existing websites through ongoing optimisation; and
• Use Analytics to monitor and improve performance.

Success Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Communications/marketing/multimedia/digital) and experience or appropriate industry training courses preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a digital producer/product management role.
• Experience with Content Management System (CMS) and issue management systems are essential with a good understanding of HTML and URL page content structures.
• Experience with Ecommerce platforms preferred.
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects at once is essential.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements for effective product development.
• Demonstrated experience in customer/user experience research and UX principles.
• Experience in using web analytics to derive insights with the ability to create reporting dashboards.
• Understanding of SEO principles in relation to content management.
• Experience in content authoring through creating, commissioning and adapting content for the web.
• Experience in managing multiple stakeholders and in communicating and briefing external agencies such as design and development teams is essential.
