About the role

We are seeking a Façade Sales Engineer to drive our specifications and sales of lightweight Facades. Based in our Sydney Design Studio and reporting to the National Business Development Manager, the ideal candidate will hold a structural engineering degree and be ready to translate this into real-world customer solutions.

Duties include but are not limited to
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders;
• Influence specifiers such as engineers, architects, builders, developers and subcontractors through technical product design and service;
• Provide technical and engineering advice on Façade products, services and engineered solutions;
• Provide both formal and informal technical specification presentations to all the relevant specifiers and construction companies;
• Prepare general cost estimates for both supply and installation of all our engineered products;
• Further develop company engineering technical solutions;
• Assist in the preparation of required technical reports, presentations, company brochures and strategies;
• Attend trade or engineering shows and conferences;
• Assist in the design of custom-made products and developing future innovative solutions;
• Support the national business development team with technical and engineering assistance to secure projects;
• Provide samples and technical assistance to Engineers and Architects in a timely manner; and
• Record project wins and losses in Salesforce CRM.

Success Requirements

• Bachelor of Structural Engineering.
• Strong technical understanding of both design concepts and construction methodology.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales, marketing and presentation skills.
• Team orientated.
• Technologically savvy and proficient in CAD.
• Well-developed ability to read plans and provide technical advice.
