Role 

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will provide colour scheme and design advice along with superior service to assist our customers in the selection of exterior colours for their new home. The role will also assist internal and external customers in a range of service and sales enquires across Brickworks wide range of products and provide an exceptional customer service experience.

Duties include but not limited to:

Coordinating of appointments with clients through our database;
Guide customers through the colour selection process and different building materials;
Report figures to the Customer Service Supervisor on a weekly basis; 
Assist in the running and smooth operation of the Design Centre;
Assist in the development and growth of Austral Bricks as a front-line company representative;
Maintain detailed knowledge of the Company’s products and services;
Provide customers with friendly professional advice on our full range of products; 
Process orders via JDE and Salesforce systems;
Maintain efficient daily banking;
Ensure all sales enquiries are answered in a prompt and professional manner;
Ensure the studio work area is kept to a high standard; and
Manage the stock control of colour swatches and show room samples.

Success Requirements

Passionate about customer service and demonstrated experience.
Experience with colour selections and/or interior design (ideal).
Building products knowledge (preferable).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Adept at solving problems.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
